Bob Adamson commenced consulting in economic geology in 1993 following 25 years in technical and management positions with the CRA, Newmont, BP Minerals and Cluff groups.
He is experienced in the exploration and mining of base metal and gold deposits throughout Australia, New Zealand, southern and eastern Africa, northern Asia and northern Canada and has had significant involvement in the discovery and development of gold and base metal mines in several of these regions. He is also experienced in diamond and semi-precious stone exploration (especially eastern Australia).

Bob specialises in exploration appraisals and project management with emphasis on best-practice drilling and sampling procedures, the recording of data and the development of practical geological models of mineral deposits. He conducts geological audits of mineral resources and ore reserves for the appraisal and/or valuation of exploration and mining properties, with a focus on the geological aspects that impact mine profitability.
Clients include major mining companies, merchant banks and legal firms, and junior exploration companies in Australia and internationally. He presently provides part-time executive services to Klondike Source Limited, a gold exploration company listed on the Newcastle Stock Exchange.
His assignments extend to technical appraisals and valuations of exploration and mining properties in satisfaction of ASX and ASIC requirements, and as an expert witness in mining litigation.

David Choy is an independent consulting geologist, with over 25 years experience in the minerals industry. He has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree (1970) from the University of Malaya and a Master of Science degree (1995) ftom Monash University, Melbourne.
He worked for Conzinc Riotinto Malaysia Limited from 1970-1982, firstly as an exploration geologist for base metals and tin, and then as a mine planning engineer. From 1982 to 1985, he was employed by CRA Exploration Pty. Limited to work as a Senior Geologist on deep lead gold exploration in Victoria. From 1985-1990, specializing on gold and mineral exploration, he was employed
by a number of mining companies in Australia. He helped acquire the zeolite project for Mount Gipps Limited which has subsequently become Zeolite Australia.
He was a founding director of Mount Wellington Gold Pty. Limited which is engaged in gold and base-metal exploration on a major greenstone belt in Victoria. From 1991-1996, he was a Director of Mount Wellington Gold Pty. Limited.
And from 1996 – present working as a consulting geologist on gold and base-metal exploration in Australia, Southeast Asia and China.

Phil graduated in geology from the University of London in 1972 and in over 20 years of professional experience has participated in exploration programmes for base metals, gold, uranium and iron ore throughout Australia, South and West Africa, Europe and Canada. He was a staff geologist with major exploration companies including Esso and US Steel Corporation.
In 1984 he established his consultancy firm, Farnley Nominees Pty Ltd, now trading as Fillis Geological Services. Phil has extensive experience in technical reviews and producing documents to a bankable standard.

Mike Lawrence

Mike is an economic geologist with some 48 years’ international Minerals Industry experience, who provides independent valuations of exploration and mine properties, project technical audits and dispute resolution solutions.  He specialises in due diligence and mineral property technical appraisals and valuations in an ADR or litigation context, involving a very wide range of commodities [eg, coal, iron ore, base metals, nickel, gold, bauxite, phosphate, aggregates, industrial minerals, dimension stone and gemstones.

He has been a mining and geological consultant to the metalliferous, coal and quarrying industries as CEO of international resource consultancies’ regional operations [eg, the French Government’s BRGM/SEREM and the UK Robertson Group], until 1991 when he founded Sydney-based Minval Associates.

He has been widely recognised by the Industry as an independent, highly ethical expert (MICA Medal, Honorary Fellow AusIMM & FAIG, 1999, President AusIMM and its Beryl Jacka Award recipient).

He authored 99 technical papers (to end 2013), particularly on aspects of valuation, due diligence, risk, ethics and professional liability.  He has made major contributions to AusIMM’s VALMIN Code since 1991 and development of AusIMM/MICA Alternate Dispute Resolution Scheme.  Appointed 2008 to NSW Ministerial Land Access Arbitration Panel (reappointed to June 2017).

Forty eight years as a geologist with governments, companies and as a consultant have provided Kevin with extensive experience in hydrogeology, climate analysis, regional geology, geochemical exploration, coal exploration and environmental geology. He commenced consulting in 1968 and in 1972 formed his independent practice which is particularly known for expertise in hydrogeology, public company reporting, valuations, waste water disposal and environmental hydrogeology.
Projects have been taken throughout the world with particular reference to Africa, South East Asia, Iran, Papua New Guinea and Russian Far East.

Tony Osman is a Chartered Professional Geologist with over 40 vears’ experience in coal and minerals exploration and evaluation, as well as government aid and development programs. He has been involved in business development activities in Indonesia including mining and industry management information systems and human resources development. He has been a consultant for some 20 years of that time.

He has been involved in coal exploration and deposit evaluation for over 35years covering all of Australia (in particular the Bowen Basin of Queensland and the Collie Basin in WA) and Indonesia (in particular Kalimantan and Sumatra). He has reviewed anthracite deposits in North Vietnam. He has been involved in base metal exploration in Australia, Papua New Guinea (including the Bougainville Porphyry Copper-Gold project). Tony has also worked on diamonds in Kalimantan, opal in NSW, lateritic nickel in Indonesia, bauxite (Australia and Indonesia), iron ore (Indonesia and Cambodia) and general review studies.

Inter alia, he has worked for CRA Exploration. BP Australia Coal, ARCO Australia (the first Australian national to be appointed Chief Geologist) and in 1981 posted to Indonesia to establish the entire operations of PT ARUTMIN Indonesia as its first employee and first general manager/exploration manager. This company was Indonesia’s very first Coal Contractor company. Anaconda Indonesia (as General Manager), ACIL as Deputy Team Leader in Kefamenau (West Timor) on an Australian Government rural aid project.

Major clients during his consultancy/contracting years have included Alfred McAlpine International (UK). Austrade (Jakarta), Baker & McKenzie (Singapore-expert advisor), Cyprus Australia Coal, Department of Mineral Resource (NSW), NSW Coal Compensation Board, Peabody (USA), BHP-Billiton (Indonesia) and SRK Consultants.

Other groups such as AME Mineral Economics, Cambrian Resources, GRM International (Australian Government foreign government capacity building programs), Landau Corporation (New York), Herald Resources, PT Mincom lndoservices, PT Minindo Darmasakti Anugerah, New Minerals Corporation, Straits Resources, PT Vietmindo Energatama, White Mining, Xenolith Gold, Lion Resources, Kimberley Oil and Gulf Alumina have also engaged his services.

With 30 years experience in the mineral industry, Neil’s career has been wide and varied. He commenced with Utah Development Co. in 1969 working in base metals, uranium and coal exploration in Australia, various African countries and Indonesia. Early in 1978 he joined Marathon Petroleum to lead their coal exploration group which became quite successful. Late in 1979, Neil launched his own consultancy practice and since then has been involved in a great variety of tasks from short term specific assignments to management of large projects carrying budgets of millions of dollars.
